When I go for a walk, it is inevitable not to collect that flower or leaf that catches my attention and then illustrate it.

Sometimes there are so many that I don't have time to paint them before they wither, so I needed an idea to be able to preserve them and then be painted.

It is there where my botanical press was born, which is perfect for collecting and preserving all those little leaves along the way.

This press is carefully handmade and includes:

  • 2 pieces of Poplar wood 7.87 x 11.81 x 0.39 inches / 20cmx30cmx1cm.

  • 2 leather straps with steel buckles for pressing.

  • 6 sheets of blotting paper.

  • 3 sheets of corrugated cardboard.

  • Weight: 700 grams
